The photo is of Issac, my wife, Gina, and our English Shepherd, Dianna. Issac also shares the house with our cat, Pumpkin, and our most recent addition, our son Louis (who is now 15 months). We try to take our dogs with us wherever we go and so far, they've been to six states and stepped in three of the five Great Lakes. And in '98, we'll add two more states (Ohio and Missouri) as we attend a couple of shows. We also take the dogs for obedience, agility, and herding lessons, mostly for fun, although we do enter a trial every now and then. Ray Dube |

This months selection comes from Georgia. Susie was in a litter of 5 puppies. Stephen now age 4 picked her out in their first week and named her Susie. She will be one year old next week June 23,1997. She is owned by the Kuni's and Wilson's of Shamrock Farms in Ky.Stephen the true owner finds it hard to let his dogs leave for shows,but like any proud owner enjoys hanging the ribbons and win photos on his walls. |

CH. Solsbury's Bergi of Grants Farm Manor was submitted by Kim & Andy Busch. Bergi finished undefeated in 3 weekends and was an award of merit winner at Madison Square Garden's prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show this past year. | Pictured at 8mos is Becket (Waterford's Becket von Ironclad) and at 13 yrs is Pandy (Pandemonium 'n' Harmony cdx, cgc, hic).Owned by Monica and Jim Zaworski. Both dogs have developed a good friendship and we plan to do all the fun doggie-sports with Becket as we did with Pandy. Maybe even try conformation! Monica studied the breed for 4 yrs before deciding on a breeder she liked. Either its the breed or this particular puppy. Becket is a happy worker, willing to please, and is a wonderful dog. I don't even look at other breeds anymore. As I have found the breed for me. We are very happy with our Greater Swiss Mt Dog! |
