On August 25, 2004 we bred our beautiful bitch "Eva" to handsome "Kaiser", who happens to be a product of our Swiss import "Bill vom Hofbach". On October 25, 2004 we welcomed in a fantastic litter of eleven puppies: four males and seven females. We owe a great deal of thanks to Dr Boyd Wagner and the capable staff at Wyomissing Animal Hospital. Due to Dr Wagner's agile hands, the cesarean section only lasted forty minutes from induction to recovery. Below is Dr Wagner sectioning the first uterine horn of pups.

The Wyomissing Animal Hospital staff assisting with
the c-section: Dr Wagner, Barb, Cindi, Jess, Karen, Liz, Tara, and
Anne. Jonathan and Sue are honorary techs.
This litter would not be possible without the talented hands of Dr John Melniczek! Lynne named the first pup...."Annie" Thanks to Tammy for a monumental dewclaw removal.

The staff was well-equipped to revive the puppies after
anesthesia....before long the pups were all kicking and screaming.

As you can see, the pups are
all so similarly marked that we are having a very difficult time telling
them apart! The pups are very vigorous and do not sit still for long. We hope our camera can keep up with them. |
